Holders for general imaging
Fischione 2020 tomography holder
FEI single tilt holder
Standard sample holder available for the Tecnai microscopes and the ATEM.
FEI double tilt
The holder has a beta-tilt of about +/-30°. The specimen cradle and clamping material (hexring and anti-twist washer) are made of beryllium to minimize unwanted X-ray signal from the holder.

DENSsolution Wildfire single tilt heating holder
MEMS-based holder for heating up to 1300°C. It is a single tilt holder which is also suitable for EDS.
Protochips Fusion Select double tilt heating holder
This MEMS-based holder has 6 contacts, which allows for heating, electrical biasing/measuring and the combination of both. It has beta-tilt capabilities up to about +/- 20° and is suitable for EDS. The chips can be heated up to about 1200°C.
Gatan 652 In double tilt heating holder
Classical furnace heating holder which is suited for standard 3mm samples. The heating furnace is made from Inconel and suited for heating in oxidizing gas environments (ETEM) up to about 800°C. This holder is not suited for EDS because of the furnace design.
Gatan 652 Ta double tilt heating holder
Classical furnace heating holder which is suited for standard 3mm samples. The heating furnace is made from tantalum and ONLY suited for heating in non-oxidizing gas environments (ETEM) up to about 1000°C. This holder is not suited for EDS because of the furnace design.
