The FEI Vitrobot™ is used for vitrifying (freezing) single particle samples for cryo-TEM. The Vitrobot™ is fully automated and performs the cryo-fixation process at constant conditions (temperature, relative humidity, blotting and freezing velocity), which ensures high quality cryo-fixation.
