The extent of the training program depends on which facilities (and equipment) you would like to access. There are generally two main tracks you can follow to access equipment at DTU Nanolab. We would also like to have a “launch meeting” with you and preferably your supervisor. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss your material choices, fabrication plans, processes, and tools, as well as related tool trainings. This is done with the aim of being able to understand and support your future work in the cleanroom. If you have a fabrication plan or a preliminary process flow, please send it to us, to help us prepare for the meeting.

Please suggest a time and place (at DTU) for the meeting, and I will see how it fits in my calendar. If you do not have a possibility to come to DTU, we can also have the meeting using teams or equivalent video conference tool. Let me know if you have any other question.

After you passed the safety course and launch meeting, you are ready to go into the cleanroom. You can start to sign up for machine training by sending a request to training@nanolab.dtu.dk. For some of the machines we require you to take some online trainings before hands-on training on the machines.
