GIF apertures are not responding
From time to time, there might be some issues with the GIF apertures not responding and moving. If this is the case, try the following:
- Close the software "Filter Control" and "DM" on the microscope PC.
- Go to the cabinet back of the microscope, where the controlers for the CCD cameras and GIF are (see image).
- Switch off the main power supply at the bottom (GIF electronics; right above the OneView controler).
- Wait 10s
- Switch the power back on.
- Make sure the two CCD controlers don't show an error (orange LED above RESET); if they do, press "Reset").
- Start "Filter Control" and "DM" on the microscope PC.
