HAADF detector doesn't give a signal

Eventhough the HAADF detector is inserted properly, it sometimes doesn't give a signal. This is typically the case at the beginning of the session, when the detector is used for the first time. If this is the case, try the following:

  1. Go to the "STEM Detector (User)" control panel
  2. Open the flapout
  3. Un-check "HAADF"
  4. Check "HAADF"
  5. Try imaging again. The detector should give a signal.
