# Comments and Suggestions to improve access to the equipments: Answers
Harmonisation of online TPT. More than 0 points if some answers are good but not all in multiple choice questions Your suggestion will be forwarded to the makers of TPT quizzes
Before I started I found the information on what to do before I can get access a bit conflicting and confusing - for example I did many courses at DTU Learn which later turned out not to be required (but I learned something from them so it's not an issue) This we normally clarify during the required Cleanroom Launch meeting.
I think that LabAdviser should be updated more often with new information, as in many cases I found broken links and/or little information about some processes. It would also be nice to streamline a bit the courses and TPTs to gain access at Nanolab. For example, I think the safety course has a lot of videos with overlapping information; I think there should be a single source of videos (maybe separated by topic) and documentation, in order not to create confusion. Please let us know when you find such issues. On every page there shold be an "Feedback to this page: click here"
I'd suggest specific training for student and research levels. As a postdoc, it took me 2 months to be able to start using the needed equipment. We do not have the resources to make online materials for users at different levels. The TPT courses were made to have at least a common basic knowledge before using the machines. Both the online courses and the hands-on trainings should however, be easier to pass for a person with good background knowledge.
A more specific suggestion, all the schedules could be arranged from the beginning of the training process. In the 2-month period, 5 weeks were spent waiting for the staff to reply or waiting for an appointment. We are sorry for your long waiting periods. In practice it is very difficult to plan everything in advance because of the possibility of equipment breakdown and other delays. We have the Cleanroom launch meetings to prepare and initiate plans.
