Purpose of the LabAdviser - sharing of knowledge

The purpose of LabAdviser is sharing of knowledge. In our laboratory thousands of experiments have been made and we want to make sure that the knowledge and experience acquired through this become accessible to current and future users. Sharing knowledge is the key for further development and all our users are encouraged to contribute. For the safety of the laboratory and other reasons, however, we cannot allow LabAdviser to have an open-for-all-input structure like Wikipedia. The procedure for adding user input to the LabAdviser is described in this document.

Public access - disclaimer

LabAdviser (labadviser.danchip.dtu.dk) is readable to several hundred users and protected by simple password protection. Therefore this site should be considered public. DTU Danchip makes every effort to provide reliable information but DTU Danchip provides no warranty as to the accuracy, reliability or completeness of the information found in LabAdviser.

When you send us information to be entered into LabAdviser we will decide whether it is relevant to add to this site. We take the liberty to fit the material into LabAdviser. We may only use parts of the material, rewrite it or in other ways edit it so it fits in and is in agreement with our experience and with general rules in the DTU Danchip laboratory facility.

Credits, intellectual proprietary rights and origin of material

You will be credited for the material that you provide and other users may be referred to you. It is absolutely essential that you are completely honest of your work. Make sure that you are the owner of the information you send us. We want to credit the right people for the work and be sure we do not violate any rights or patents etc. It is of utmost importance that no confidential material is ever leaked in LabAdviser.

We encourage you to send us your Ph.D or Master's thesis based on work performed in the Danchip laboratory facility. Smaller projects are also welcomed. The documents must be in pdf format.
